The Alliance Française utilizes a French immersion approach, with a curriculum focused on interaction with
teachers qualified in teaching French as a foreign language (FLE).
The programs are designed to improve both spoken and written French, adhering to the Common European Framework of Reference for
Languages (CEFR),
an internationally recognized standard for language proficiency. The CEFR framework is split into six levels, from A1 (beginner) to C2 (fluent), with increasing complexity at each stage.
We have two options, the normal progression, term by term, 2h per week for 7 weeks, or the Diploma program, 3h
per week, for 28 weeks.
The Diploma program begins in September only and covers the complete A1 level over two 14-week semesters, totaling 84 hours. At the end of the program, we assist students with the enrollment process for the DELF A1 exam in Hong Kong, should they wish to take it.
Enrollment for the 2025-2026 session opens in February 2025, with only 15 seats available.
The DELF diploma, issued by the French Ministry of Education, is internationally recognized and valid for life.
The Junior DELF (for ages 12 to 17) follows the same structure as the adult DELF, with topics tailored to young learners' interests. It is exclusively for secondary school students.
The diploma awarded is identical to the adult DELF. For more details on DELF and DALF, visit the France Education International website.
