The Alliance Française in the world

The Alliance Française was created in Paris in 1883.

The Alliance Française has 29 centers in France and is established in 138 other countries around the world with 1,093 local centers committed to promote both French language and culture.

Each year some 370,000 people join our courses.

From Monday to Friday: 10 am - 1.30 pm and 3.00pm - 8 pm

The Staff

Our teaching staff is entirely composed of highly qualified native speakers graduated with a Master degree in French as a Foreign Language. We provide French courses for children, teenagers and adults, offering general French courses or courses focused on specific objectives.

Membership

The membership gives you free access to some of the Alliance Française’s events and allows you to borrow documents from the library for free.

As a member you can also take an active role in the life of the Alliance Française through the annual General Assembly when the members approve the reports presented by the Committee. Members also vote every two years for a Bureau of the Committee.

Your support is essential for us.

If you want to become a member of the Alliance Française de Macao, you need to come to our office and fill a membership form.

Fees:

- 150 mop for one year for one person
- 250 mop for one year for two persons applying at the same time

The Committee

The Alliance Française de Macao is a non profitable association created in 1987. In the 20 years of its history, several distinguished Presidents and Members have committed themselves to the promotion of cultural links between France and Macao.

The Committee is composed of 11 members elected for a 2 years mandate by the General Assembly Members.

Their contribution is invaluable as they guarantee respect for the status of the Alliance Française and its mission. The members of the Committee take strategic decisions for the future and are in charge of presenting financial and activity reports to the General Assembly on a annual basis.
